The Axiom is the latest in CMM technology. Its all aluminium structure ensures that if the CMM is not housed in a temperature-controlled environment, the machine expands and contract uniformly with temperature fluctuations, ensuring no distortion and subsequent errors. Ambient temperature can be compensated for in the user software, making it ideal for use on the shop floor.

The granite and steel sandwich construction table supports 300kg components, with the weight taken through the structure of the machine, so again not affecting measurement accuracy.

The fine adjust wheels are designed so that they can be left permanently engaged. This means fast measurements and encouraged good metrology techniques.

And if the hardware is simple to use, then the revolutionary Aberlink 3D measurement software set and continues to set new standards in simplicity, making 3D measurement just a bout as easy as it can be.

As you measure a component a representation is created on the monitor. You simply have to click on the measured features to 'pick off' the dimensions required. The screen ends up looking exactly like the component drawing.
